Murgon soccer coach Sarah Vanderkolk and a bunch of young footballers are celebrating after bringing home the Gold Coast Champions Youth Cup.<\/p>\n

Sarah coached the South West Queensland U14s in the carnival, which was played during the school break.<\/p>\n

Her daughter Renae also earned a berth in the rep team.<\/p>\n

The team of 12 to 14-year-olds came up against some much older players during their march to victory.<\/p>\n

They defeated Wahroonga (from Sydney) 2-0 in the final.<\/p>\n

SWQ entered U12 Boys, U13 Boys, U14 Girls and U15 Boys in the carnival.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
