Ever wondered how fudge is made? If you have, you can find out all about it if you drop by Taste South Burnett’s cellar door on Monday, October 5.<\/p>\n

Taste South Burnett make their famous Kingaroy fudges once each week, usually on Sundays.<\/p>\n

But as part of this year’s South Burnett and Cherbourg On Show long weekend they’re doing it on Monday instead.<\/p>\n

And if you time things just right, you may even be able to try hot fudge on a stick fresh from the kettle!<\/p>\n

Alternately – if a big breakfast on a Sunday morning is more your style – Taste South Burnett will be running The Big Burnett Brunch on Sunday morning between 9:30am and 10:30am.<\/p>\n

For $23 to $27 per head, you can eat up big with an innovative selection of dishes that showcase the fine local produce they have available, including Kingsley Grove\u2019s newly released (today!) Tingle sparkling Chardonnay.<\/p>\n

Bookings are essential, though – and you can make one on their website<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

Taste South Burnett are the South Burnett’s cellar door and gluten free delicatessen, and they stock the region’s biggest range of locally produced products.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These include wines from Kingsley Grove, Tipperary Estate and Barambah Wines; liqueurs from Crane Wines; cold pressed oils and peanut butters from Proteco; organic chutneys and preserves from Richard’s Kitchen; teas and coffees; smallgoods from local smokehouse butchers; capers from Bunya Red Farm; and many, many more.<\/p>\n

Their multi award-winning cellar door is located at Shop 4, 36 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just at the end of the laneway) and is open from 11:00am to 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays; and 10:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.<\/p>\n

If you drop by for a visit, you can sample South Burnett wines and many of the other lines they stock, and even make your own coffee on site.<\/p>\n

Taste South Burnett also provide gluten free lunches and afternoon teas you can eat in the shaded eating area outside their shop.<\/p>\n

And – of course – the region’s best range of delicious fudges.<\/p>\n
