Here\u2019s the fishing report for Boondooma and Bjelke-Petersen dams for the week ending Monday, September 28:<\/p>\n

Boondooma Dam<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Dam Level = 65 per cent<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Redclaw are slowly coming out of hiding due to the warmer water but there are still not big numbers being caught yet.<\/p>\n

    Golden Perch were having a good week with good numbers being caught and good sizes, too. Spinner bait and lures worked the best.<\/p>\n

    Bass were hard to find in the morning but were better in the afternoon when good sizes were caught. Lures seemed to work the best.<\/p>\n

    • Dam Level = 45.6 per cent<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Loads of fish are being caught off the bank and in the boats around the sticks.<\/p>\n

      Golden Perch are once again the main fish of choice with Bass coming in at a close second.<\/p>\n

      Yabbies, shrimp and prawns are the idea bait of choice with plenty of reports of them being hooked fairly regularly.<\/p>\n

      A 50cm Eel-tailed Catfish was caught just off the bank near the boat ramp within the park area.<\/p>\n

      Red claw have been reported to have been caught but are still not very plentiful at this stage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
