The approximate area that will be affected by Tuesday's water outage<\/figcaption><\/figure>September 28, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

About 90 houses in the area bounded by Knight Street, Railway Terrace and Kingaroy Street, as well as Kingaroy’s industrial estate, will have their water supply turned off from 7:30am<\/strong> to 3:00pm<\/strong> on Tuesday, October 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council will be undertaking routine maintenance work on the town’s water supply during these hours.<\/p>\n

While no problems are anticipated, full restoration of supply may be extended if unexpected circumstances occur.<\/p>\n

The SBRC has advised residents and businesses in the area to take appropriate actions, such as turning off hot water systems and saving enough water for the period.<\/p>\n

If necessary, toilets can be flushed during the outage by quickly discharging a 10 litre bucket of water into the pedestal.<\/p>\n

All households and businesses likely to be affected were sent a leaflet by Council earlier this week. <\/p>\n
