More than $75,000 was presented to South Burnett community groups at Council’s inaugural Community Assistance Funding<\/strong> presentation night.<\/p>\n

The funding, which represents “annualised” support budgeted by the South Burnett Regional Council for groups or re-occurring events, was handed over in individual cheques to representatives from the 64 groups gathered at Kingaroy Town Hall.<\/p>\n

Mayor Wayne Kratzmann said the evening was “all about recognising what people do in our great community”.<\/p>\n

Recipients included show societies, hall committees, sporting groups, festival committees, school bodies and charities.<\/p>\n
