When young Chloe Blinco-Kregenbrink ran into some of Queensland’s best rugby league footballers in Brisbane recently, they promised they would get her a State of origin jumper.<\/p>\n

And good to their word, Chloe,\u00a0 6, is now the proud owner of a signed guernsey, presented to her during Disability Action Week.<\/p>\n

Chloe has severe nerve damage in her right leg which restricts her movement and requires regular trips to Brisbane to adjust her leg brace.<\/p>\n

Her mother Tracey said the footballers had been impressed by her daughter’s bravery.<\/p>\n

“All the team was inspired by Chloe’s story,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Chloe and her family say thank you to all the people in the\u00a0 community who respect her disability.<\/p>\n

“People with disability just want respect and the same rights as anyone else.<\/p>\n

“The South Burnett community should be proud of Chloe and her ability to overcome adversity. She is a determined, happy and kind young lady. ”<\/p>\n
