The South Burnett’s fledgling AFL Club, the Saints, is moving ahead, making plans for an upcoming nine-a-side competition.<\/p>\n

The competition will be held at Lyle Vidler Oval in October but a starting date has not yet been finalised.<\/p>\n

The club is also planning to hold a sign-on day in late November.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, people interested in Aussie Rules are invited to attend a casual “kick around” at Lyle Vidler Oval on Sundays from 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

Club spokesman Will Reid said all skill levels were welcome.<\/p>\n

The club is still looking for volunteers to fill several roles, including junior and senior delegates, PR people etc<\/p>\n
