CTC Diversionary Patrol staff<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

April 18, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett CTC’s latest newsletter demonstrates how the group’s staff are working hard in the Murgon and Cherbourg areas to help keep people safe at night.<\/p>\n

People who have been drinking are at a particular risk of hurting themselves, but so are children if they are allowed to wander the streets at night.<\/p>\n

Diversionary Patrol staff work from 8:00pm to 4:00am from Wednesday through to Saturday on Murgon and Cherbourg streets.<\/p>\n

People are transported to a safe place to sober up – whether it’s their own house, a relative’s home or somewhere where they know they’ll be okay.<\/p>\n

Safe Haven Patrol staff work from 4:30pm to 1:00am four nights a week encouraging children to return home or to another safe place.<\/p>\n
