The South Burnett didn’t forget missing NSW toddler William Tyrrell at the weekend, with a good crowd turning out at Wondai for a special “Walk 4 William”.<\/p>\n

Police believe three-year-old William Tyrrell was abducted while playing outside his grandmother’s house at Benaroon Drive in Kendall on the NSW mid-North Coast last year.<\/p>\n

Saturday was the first anniversary of his disappearance.<\/p>\n

Natasha Monk from Proston – the mother of three young boys – saw various “Walks 4 William” around Australia advertised on social media but realised nothing had been organised for the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

So she decided do something about it …<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Natasha and about 80 other people gathered at the Wondai Sportsground to “Walk 4 William”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

William Tyrrell was last seen wearing a Spiderman suit, so many of the walkers on Saturday were dressed in red and blue (Spiderman colours) and some of the children were wearing their own Spiderman outfits.<\/p>\n

The walkers covered 2km, and as Natasha explained, it wasn’t a fundraiser.<\/p>\n

“We wanted to raise awareness about William. Someone must know where he is,” Natasha said.<\/p>\n

“And we wanted to remind parents about keeping an eye on their kids.”<\/p>\n
