Finalists in the 2015 Rural Ambassador competition are being sponsored to help spread the word about Queensland Police’s “Stock and Rural Crime” smart phone app.<\/p>\n

The initiative has come about through a partnership with the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies Inc, after consultation with CEO Mark Bryant and 2014 Rural Ambassador winner Sarah Hannah.<\/p>\n

The nine finalists in this year’s competition – including the South Burnett’s Melissa O’Hanlon – and Sarah will demonstrate how to download, access and use the app as they travel to rural and regional shows throughout the year.<\/p>\n

To assist the finalists, pastoral company Stanbroke has committed to assisting the ambassadors with sponsorship to support their travel to enable them to visit as many shows as possible.<\/p>\n
