{"id":11898,"date":"2012-09-25T11:31:07","date_gmt":"2012-09-25T01:31:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=11898"},"modified":"2024-11-09T10:30:27","modified_gmt":"2024-11-09T00:30:27","slug":"10-4m-roadworks-for-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2012\/09\/25\/10-4m-roadworks-for-region\/","title":{"rendered":"$10.4m Roadworks For Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>September 25, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Funding for almost $10.4 million worth of roadworks in the South Burnett region was announced in the recent State Budget.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Projects include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>D\u2019Aguilar Highway (sections between Yarraman and Kingaroy) &#8211; more than $8.3 million for intersection improvements, overtaking lanes, widening and sealing, new signage and pavement rehabilitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kingaroy-Cooyar Road &#8211; works valued at $691,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maidenwell-Bunya Mountains Road &#8211; $400,000 for reshaping and sealing (works scheduled for 2012\/13)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Burnett Highway (between Nanango and Goomeri) &#8211; $300,000 for heavy vehicle parking area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kingaroy-Barkers Creek Road &#8211; $700,000 for rehabilitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington said the State Government was investing heavily in the South Burnett\u2019s road network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program, some major works are scheduled for our region this year and through to 2016,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.southburnett.biz\/pdfs\/widebayburnettregion.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download a full list of Wide Bay Burnett projects<\/a><\/strong> (824kb PDF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Funding for almost $10.4 million worth of roadworks in the South Burnett region was announced in the recent State Budget.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[5,3],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
