Golfers have an added incentive to get on down to Murgon Golf Course and start practising their swings … they could win a Nissan Micra if their skills are top notch.<\/p>\n

A Nissan Micra ST-L will be won by any golfer who gets a hole-in-one at the Mayor’s Charity Golf Day which will be held at Murgon on Friday, September 11.<\/p>\n

Huston Nissan dealer principal Mark Huston said he was happy to support the Charity Golf Day as the funds raised support local community groups.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fund supports a lot of people and organisations in the community, so it\u2019s for a very good cause,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re very happy to be involved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Huston Nissan also supported the Mayor’s inaugural Charity Golf Day, held last year in Kingaroy – but no one won the car, so golfers will just have to try harder this year!<\/p>\n

The Nissan Micra is valued at $13,990.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The three-person Ambrose, sponsored by Wessel Petroleum (BP Murgon), will have a shotgun start.<\/p>\n

Entry fees include a welcome pack and barbecue lunch.<\/p>\n

There will also be raffles and auctions throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Council is inviting local businesses or organisations to support the event by way of sponsorship, raffle items and by nominating teams of golfers.<\/p>\n
