Despite only hosting their first official race meeting in April, the Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway Club has won the right to host the Junior 125cc Motorcycle Speedway Queensland titles.

Club secretary Tracey Tunstall announced last month at the club had put in an Expression of Interest to host the State Titles.

She said today they had been successful, and the race meeting will be held on Saturday, November 28.

“This is such a great achievement for a club only 15 months old,” she said.

“Our wonderful band of volunteers and club members – not to mention our riders – all work together to make this the best club, track and experience we can for junior motorcycle speedway riders and their families.

“There’ll be lots of hard work and fundraising to come between now and then!”
