August 15, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

A rally driver has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after his vehicle hit a tree during an event near Jimna on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The man, aged in his 50s, is believed to have suffered chest and spinal injuries.<\/p>\n

The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was despatched to the Brisbane Sporting Car Club event about 12:30pm.<\/p>\n

The man\u2019s injuries were assessed and treated by CareFlight\u2019s Critical Care Doctor and the QAS Flight Intensive Care Paramedic.<\/p>\n

He was then flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n
