A Year 12 mooting team from Kingaroy State High School will be competing in the finals of the Bond University competition on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Zoe Basham, Mikhaela Williams and Tahnia Miller won the Toowoomba Regional round and a Merit Advocacy award.<\/p>\n

This qualified them to compete on the Grand Final at the Bond University campus.<\/p>\n

They will be up against Hillcrest Christian College in the first round.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy State High School has also had two other mooting teams competing in competitions this year.<\/p>\n

A Year 11 team consisting of Nathan Fairbairn, Kelly Hollier and Breeanna Carroll contested the first round in the knockout University of Southern Queensland competition, but lost to Centenary Heights.<\/p>\n

A Year 12 team (Tahnia Miller, Charlie Plant and Liana Haak) made it through to the quarter finals in the same competition before losing to a team from St Joseph’s, Toowoomba.<\/p>\n
