The South Burnett Regional Council is looking for the owner of two stockhorses found wandering in the Moffatdale area on July 22.<\/p>\n

The mare and filly have been impounded.<\/p>\n

Anyone wanting to claim the animals must be able to provide proof of ownership.<\/p>\n

If the horses are not claimed before noon on August 7, they will be advertised for sale.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Council is seeking expressions of interest from anyone interested in buying five stockhorses: a stallion, a filly and three geldings.<\/p>\n

The animals were originally found wandering in the Murgon area on Wednesday, July 8.<\/p>\n

Expressions must be received by noon on August 7, and the highest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted. <\/p>\n

Collection of the horses will be from the Wondai Dip Yards. <\/p>\n
