Judges were kept busy on Saturday selecting the entrants who\u2019ll be representing the South Burnett at the Brisbane Exhibition next month.<\/p>\n

The annual South Burnett Sub-Chamber Presentation Lunch was held at Nanango Showground, but hosted by the Blackbutt Show Society.<\/p>\n

Categories judged were Young Judges, Young Handlers, utes, fruit cake and the prestigious Rural Ambassador and Miss Showgirl.<\/p>\n

Entrants in the last two categories were introduced to the diners by Cr Kathy Duff, before being asked to answer a few questions on stage. This formed a part of the judging process.<\/p>\n

The winners of all categories were announced during the lunch by Blackbutt Show Society president Jamie Marriott.<\/p>\n

Proston Miss Showgirl Anita Welch was named the 2014 South Burnett Miss Showgirl.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2015 South Burnett Rural Ambassador is Kingaroy Show winner Melissa O’Hanlon.<\/p>\n

For the second year in a row, Proston\u2019s Faye Kruger won the rich fruitcake category.<\/p>\n
