The QCWA’s Kingaroy Twilight Branch held an Open Day on Saturday, July 11 to spread the word about the QCWA and gain potential new members.<\/p>\n

Even though only a few attended, the cuppa and cake morning was a success.<\/p>\n

Those who did attend where quite intrigued to find that the QCWA was not just \u2018tea, scones and craft\u2019.<\/p>\n

The branch will continue to hold these open days every few months to raise awareness the QCWA is well and truly still active within their community.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy’s Twilight Branch will be holding their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, July 21 at the CWA Rooms in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy (next to the RSL), starting at 6:00pm. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr Deborah Tellam will be the meeting’s guest speaker, and she will be talking about women’s health issues.<\/p>\n

Her talk will be followed by a cuppa and cake.<\/p>\n

Anyone interested is very welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

The group meet at 6:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Kingaroy CWA Rooms.<\/p>\n
