South Burnett Regional Council is continuing to look for a new hospital operator to manage the South Burnett Private Hospital, despite the hospital formally closing on June 30.<\/p>\n

Pulse Health has agreed to hold the licence for three months to allow Council to seek a new operator. It is believed the current licence could then be transferred.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesman said today medical specialists were continuing to consult with patients in the building, and administration staff continued to man the front desk at the main hospital entrance.<\/p>\n
