The Nanango and District Netball Association’s car park is looking a lot brighter these days. And it’s all thanks to Stanwell Corporation.<\/p>\n

The company recently sponsored the installation of car park lighting at the Association’s club house in Brooklands Road, Nanango.<\/p>\n

“Because our games are now mostly played at night, we identified at the start of the year that our car park was unsafe,” NDNA President Deanne Dow said.<\/p>\n

She said the Association had approached Stanwell as part of their activities to address the problem.<\/p>\n

“With Stanwell’s financial help we were able to install some lighting over the carpark,” Deanne said.<\/p>\n

“This provides us with adequate lighting when there’s movement in the carpark, and also security when we’re locking up at night.”<\/p>\n

The Association recently showed the new lights to Tarong Power Station site manager Dennis Franklin when he paid a visit to the netball courts.<\/p>\n

“I would really like to thank Stanwell for their input into this,” Deanne said.<\/p>\n

“Without them it wouldn’t have been possible.<\/p>\n

“We really appreciate their time and effort.”<\/p>\n
