More than 300 visitors from all over Queensland are expected to converge on Murgon from Sunday (July 5) for a huge junior rugby league carnival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Murgon Showground has been chosen as the host venue for this year’s 50th anniversary 43kg Carnival.<\/p>\n

The last time the Carnival was run in Murgon was in 2007.<\/p>\n

Players, their parents and officials will be attending from as far afield as NSW and north Queensland.<\/p>\n

Murgon Mustangs’ club president Ricky Collard said a major highlight of the week would be the State Of Origin final night on Wednesday, July 8.<\/p>\n

There will be big screen TVs erected at the showgrounds for the community to enjoy the game, pigs on the spit and a licensed bar.<\/p>\n
