South Burnett CTC’s Heritage Lodge accommodation project in Nanango is one step closer following the signing of a building contract last week.<\/p>\n

Clint Andrewartha, from Hontondo Homes in Kingaroy, has been contracted to build the first three duplexes in the project.<\/p>\n

CTC CEO Nina Temperton said South Burnett Regional Council had approved the Material Change of Use for the land.<\/p>\n

Clearing of the block,\u00a0at the corner of Gipps and Dalby streets, would start in July.<\/p>\n

When completed, Heritage Lodge will provide long-term accommodation in six duplexes for people with disabilities, however CTC plans to develop the project in stages.<\/p>\n

Mrs Temperton said the estimated completion date for the first three duplexes was February 28, 2016.<\/p>\n

The project is being funded by the Heritage Nanango Fund, South Burnett CTC and the State Government with support from the South Burnett Regional Council.<\/p>\n
