Here\u2019s the weekly fishing report for Boondooma and Bjelke-Petersen dams for the week ending Monday, June 8:<\/p>\n

Boondooma Dam<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Dam Level = 70 per cent<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Plenty of Bass Pros on the dam this week pre-fishing and the bass came out in good numbers.<\/p>\n

    Jigging blades worked the best for the Bass but fishermen who could find live bait caught the Goldens.<\/p>\n

    Redclaw are still in reasonable numbers but may slow down with these cold nights.<\/p>\n

    Bjelke-Petersen Dam \u2013 Yallakool<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    • Dam Level = 51 per cent<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The cold snap came mid-week with -3 degrees on Wednesday. This changed the fishing tactics for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n

      Live bait was the key to catching good numbers of Yellowbelly.<\/p>\n

      Bass were a little harder to find but anglers who worked the banks around Bass Point with blades or plastics were rewarded for their hard work.<\/p>\n

      Redclaw numbers are still patchy.<\/p>\n
