What used to be one of the most popular days out for local rev heads returned at the weekend after a gap of about four years.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy Scouts Show’n’Shine – a major fundraiser for the local troop – attracted a good range of local show cars on Saturday despite minimal publicity.<\/p>\n

Group Leader Chris Littlejohns said the Scouts were hoping to raise more than $3000 on the day, which would be a big help for the group.<\/p>\n

And he said he hoped the Show’n’Shine could again become a regular event – a wish echoed by many of the participants.<\/p>\n

At the moment, there are 18 Scouts in the Kingaroy troop, as well as 15 Cubs.<\/p>\n

A Joeys group for younger children is also about to start.<\/p>\n

Chris said he was always looking for people interested in becoming a Leader or helping out in any way.<\/p>\n
