Chief Operating Officer John Howard has officially taken over the position of CEO at the Kingaroy-based Peanut Company of Australia.<\/p>\n

This follows the resignation of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr Craig Mills.<\/p>\n

A letter to shareholders this week confirmed\u00a0that Mr Mills had resigned on August 21 but would remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.<\/p>\n

Mr Mills – the former CEO of Golden Circle Limited – was appointed Managing Director of PCA in August 2009 after the resignation of Mr Bob Hansen.<\/p>\n

He has been gradually “transitioning” from the CEO role over the past year, moving from a full-time to part-time status.<\/p>\n

Mr Howard joined PCA in September, 2009. He is the former General Manager Commercial \/ Procurement at Golden Circle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
