May 1, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rain has thrown plans for this weekend’s Kingaroy Show into disarray … South Burnett National Show Society President Cliff Seiler said the show was definitely going ahead but all the events that were to take place in the ring have been cancelled.<\/p>\n

This means no Grand Parade, no junior motorcycle speedway and no speedway on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The beef cattle, dairy cattle, miniature horses and all equestrian events have also been cancelled.<\/p>\n

However, unless conditions become worse, sideshow alley will be going ahead.<\/p>\n

The fate of the Saturday night fireworks will be confirmed later today but Cliff is hopeful they will go ahead, but probably earlier than originally planned.<\/p>\n

The truck show on Saturday and the ute show on Sunday are also still scheduled to happen.<\/p>\n

The poultry, guinea pigs, needlework, culinary, photographic, home brew, produce, pork, Lego, fine arts and woodwork entries will still be on show in the trade pavilions.<\/p>\n

The show will be officially opened by Gary Barron at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n
