Police believe they have found Mr Paven's body<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

April 21, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police searching bushland in the Woolooga area this afternoon located the body of a man, believed to be that of missing Yandina pilot Rob Pavan, 60.<\/p>\n

Mr Pavan’s single-engine Jabiru was reported missing on Saturday after he failed to arrive at his destination, Balantree Station near Dixalea, 87km west of Gladstone.<\/p>\n

He had taken off from Gympie Airport on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Mr Pavan was well-known to South Burnett aviators and had attended fly-ins at Angelfield airstrip in Murgon.<\/p>\n

The body has not yet been recovered from the remote site.<\/p>\n
