Gardeners love the rain, so overcast skies and a bit of morning drizzle weren’t going to keep them away from Wondai’s huge Autumn Garden Expo at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Wondai Sportsground was filled with stalls offering all sorts of plants, from cacti to fruit trees and everything in between.<\/p>\n

If it was even slightly garden-related, it was there.<\/p>\n

A large crowd packed into the hall and stalls area throughout Saturday, only thinning out a bit as it drew towards closing time.<\/p>\n

But many were back again on Sunday morning to pick up more ideas for their gardens.<\/p>\n

A special attraction on both Saturday and Sunday were talks by WIN-TV gardening expert Brian Sams who shared tips and answered questions from the audience.<\/p>\n

Providing musical entertainment was the Stolzenberg Brothers. The Stolzies have now notched up 11 years playing at Wondai Garden Expos.<\/p>\n

The next major public event for the Wondai Garden Club will be the Wondai Spring Garden Expo which will be held in September.<\/p>\n
