April 19, 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

The QCWA Photography Competition for the Gympie South Burnett Division was held recently at the Murgon QCWA rooms.<\/p>\n

The photographs are judged at Branch level before coming to Division.<\/p>\n

The winning photos from Division will now go onto Region Level to be judged. The final winning photos go onto State Level at Conference.<\/p>\n

This competition is open to QCWA members and non-members.<\/p>\n

This year there were 313 entries, although some were not entered in last year’s competition due to ill-health by some members.<\/p>\n

“I was very pleased with the amount of entries and the quality of the photos which made the judging a great challenge for Clive Lowe. I am grateful for Clive being the judge this year,” said Gympie South Burnett QCWA Division Photography convenor Miriam Pascoe.<\/p>\n
