Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio has condemned an overnight arson attack on a mosque, calling it \u201cun-Toowoomba\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cToowoomba is recognised as a city where people from all creeds and cultures live together peacefully,” Mayor Antonio said.<\/p>\n

“This community works hard to nurture and celebrate peace. This kind of behaviour, frankly, is a terrible insult to the majority of good people who call our region home.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said Sunday’s Toowoomba International Food Festival, which will be hosted by the Muslim community at the mosque, will still go ahead.<\/p>\n
