Don and Gail Louis were installed into the Goomeri Lions Club at a dinner meeting held on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held at the home of George and Jill Hughes.<\/p>\n

Don and Gail are long-time members of the Goomeri community and are enthusiastic to assist the club in its endeavours.<\/p>\n

The club has had a busy two months, with the chip van attending the Boondooma fishing competition, then the Proston, Murgon and Goomeri Shows.<\/p>\n

The Goomeri Lions Club also manned the gates at the very successful Goomeri show and were ably assisted by some volunteers.<\/p>\n

The club appreciates the assistance it is given by community members who put their hands up to help when help is needed.<\/p>\n

The next outing for the chip van will be the Wondai Garden Expo on April 18-19, followed by the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival on the last Sunday in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
