It’s going to be very busy at the Goomeri Showgrounds on June 28-29 with the annual Goomeri Beef Bonanza being held again in conjunction with the South Burnett Sub-Chamber Finals.

The Sub-Chamber finals are the culmination of the year’s show circuit.

The South Burnett’s very best will be selected to represent the region at this year’s Brisbane Ekka.

Competitions will be held on June 28-29 for

  • Young Judges and Young Handlers in the Stud Beef Section
  • Young Judges for Prime Cattle
  • The State Ute Muster Series
  • Dark Rich Fruit Cake, and
  • Miss Showgirl and Rural Ambassador Awards.

The weekend will commence at 4:30pm on Friday (June 28) with the judging of the Young Judges and Paraders for Goomeri and then a special Twilight Heifer Show.

On Saturday (June 29), the judging of all the classes in the Goomeri Beef Bonanza will take place. This will see some of the very best Stud Cattle competing for $4000 worth of prizes.
