Round 1 of the South Burnett soccer competition will kick off on Saturday with games in Wondai and at Kingaroy.
As well, the new combined South Burnett United team – playing in the Toowoomba Football League’s Championship competition – will take on the Dalby Tigers in Kingaroy.
United are coming off a big win over Rockville Rovers 4-0 in Toowoomba last weekend so will be going into their game full of confidence.
Game times are:
Barambah United v Nanango Panthers at Wondai
- 2:00pm – Women
- 3:30pm – Men
Wests v Gunners at Kingaroy
- 3:00pm – Women
- 5:00pm – SB United v Dalby Tigers
- 7:00pm – Men
The South Burnett junior competition will begin on April 21 in Nanango.
