Federal Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss
August 14, 2013

More than $160,000 worth of grants have been provided to South Burnett organisations from the Federal Government’s Volunteer Grants program.

Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss said the grants would enable community organisations to purchase vital, practical pieces of equipment for use by volunteers.

“The Volunteer Grants 2013 program supports local communities by helping volunteers to help others,” Mr Truss said.

“I congratulate the volunteer organisations on the success of their applications and thank all volunteers for their efforts in making their communities better.”
