If you're heading up to the Bunya Mountains today, go via Maidenwell and you can browse the Maidenwell Markets on the centre island in the heart of town between 8:00am and 12:00 noon this morning. These markets offer a range of arts and crafts, local produce, plants, home baking, bric-a-brac, sauces, jams, chutneys, coffee, food and lots more. - The South Burnett Regional Council and BIEDO will be hosting a free Storm Recovery Community BBQ at Mondure Hall in Mondure from 3:30pm to 7:30pm this afternoon. The BBQ is for the benefit of people who suffered damage in the Boxing Day and New Year's Eve storms and in addition to the chance to meet and talk with other storm victims in an informal setting and enjoy a great BBQ dinner, the event will also provide information about what resources and support is available to help residents with their storm recovery efforts.
