Meet The Buyer Meeting - Kingaroy
Kingaroy Hospital's major contractor and representives from the State Government responsible for the redevelopment of the hospital will be holding a "Meet The Buyer" meeting at Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy from 9:30am this morning until 3:00pm (or later) this afternoon. Companies interested in bidding for work on the project will be given an overview of how to lodge bids, and selected firms will be invited to attend 5-minute "breakout" sessions where they can pitch their particular strengths in detail. The meeting is free but registration nis essential, and it can be made online via Eventbrite.
Yarraman Creative Circle
The Yarraman Creative Circle crafts group will be holding their regular 4th Monday monthly meeting from 9:30am to around 2:00pm today at Kitty Cook House in Emmert Street. New members are always welcome. More details? Phone Beryl on (07) 4163-8551.
Kingaroy Neighbourhood Watch Meeting
A meeting to look at forming a Kingaroy Neighbourhood Watch group will be held at Kingaroy's police station in Alford Street, Kingaroy at 6:00pm tonight. The idea to set up the group comes from Kingaroy's OIC Snr Sgt Dave Tierney and rather than hold monthly or bi-monthly meetings (as most Neighbourhood Watch groups do), he'd like to see the new group make use modern technology to share information online. Goomeri Community Choir
The Goomeri Community Choir will be meeting at the Goomeri Hall Of Memory in Boonara Street from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight for their weekly practice session. The Cooinda Craft Group will be holding its regular Monday morning meeting at the Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 1:30pm today. Members of the group pursue a variety of crafts and newcomers are always welcome.
Murgon SES Training Night
The Murgon SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the SES Building in Gore Street, Murgon from 7:00pm to 9:00pm tonight. Anyone from the Murgon district who's interested in joining the SES (or simply finding out more about what's involved) is very welcome to come along.
Nanango Men's Shed

Monday Night Line Dancing - Proston
Line dancing classes will be held at the Proston Community Hall in Rodney Street, Proston tonight. A beginners class will run at 5:00pm and an advanced class at 6:30pm. Class fees are $5 per head and everyone is welcome!
Sing Australia - Kingaroy
The South Burnett branch of the Sing Australia singing group will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) from 7:00pm to around 9:00pm this evening. The group have a welcoming, inclusive and fun approach to singing and meet every Monday except for school and public holidays. Proston Scout Group
The Proston Scout troop will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at their Railway Park den in Rodney Street from 5:00pm to 7:00pm tonight. The group meets every Monday night during school terms.
