KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding its second Meet & Greet for 2018 at St Mary's Catholic College in Kent Street, Kingaroy at 5:15pm (for a 5:30pm start). Tonight's meeting will be addressed by St Mary's principal Angela Myers, who is seeking feedback from local businesses about the qualities they look for when hiring new staff. There'll also be discussion on feedback so far received about the Kingaroy Revitalisation Project, and Discover South Burnett's planned tourism season launch on April 19. A $10 meeting fee applies to cover the cost of drinks and nibbles but everyone is welcome, whether they're KCCI members or not. PS: To help plan the catering, an email RSVP to the KCCI by February 26 would be greatly appreciated.
Nanango Country Quilters & Crafts Group
The Nanango Country Quilters And Crafts group meet every Wednesday at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango between 9:00am to 2:00pm. Members can get to pursue a wide variety of crafts at these informal gatherings and the $3 meeting fee includes morning tea (but BYO cup and lunch). There's also usually a raffle as well. Community Prayer Vigil - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy District Minsters Association will be holding a Community Prayer Vigil in River Road Park, Kingaroy at 6:00pm tonight to pray for the recent victims of the Kingaroy Street fire. Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Wednesday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. Indoor bowls competitions commence at 9:00am and cards at around 1:00pm, and the $2 admission includes a cup of tea. Everyone is welcome. For more details phone (07) 4163-6191.
Murgon Men's Shed
The Murgon Men's Shed will be holding a meeting at their shed in Macalister Street, Murgon (the former Murgon Railway Station) today. The Men's Shed meets every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to work on projects and new members are always welcome.
Wooroolin Scouts
The Wooroolin Scouts meet every Wednesday night during school terms at their den in Kate Street, Wooroolin from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The troop is open to young people aged 6 to 18, and new members are always welcome.
Murgon Rotary Club Meeting

Nanango Get Together Coffee Group
The Nanango Get Together Coffee Group will be meeting at Nanango Food Junction at 77 Drayton Street, Nanango at 11:00am this morning. Members of the group get together regularly for a coffee and chat, and new members 18 or older are always welcome, including visitors. The group meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm, and the second and fourth Wednesday at 11:00am.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Proston
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
