KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy

The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding their latest six-weekly meet'n'greet for 2021 at Kingaroy Office Central at 163 Haly Street, Kingaroy at 5:30pm this evening. Tonight's meeting will hear presentations from Office Central, the South Burnett Regional Council and other businesses with news to share, and the event is open to all the region's businesses. Cost is $10 per person for KCCI members or $15 for non-members - which includes nibbles and drinks - and everyone is welcome. For catering purposes, though, an RSVP by email by July 26th would be greatly appreciated.

Youth Mental Health Workshop - Kingaroy

A South Burnett Youth Mental Health Workshop will be held at Kingaroy Hospital's Griffith University Training Rooms from 4:00pm to 7:00pm this evening. The workshop would be of interest to youth workers, social workers and teachers and will take the form of a scenario-based learning workshop which has been created in collaboration with year 10 students at Kingaroy State High School and St Mary’s Catholic College. The workshop is free and dinner will be provided.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, nor is it allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
