Bacon Feast Buffet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Country Motel at 38 Knight Street, Kingaroy will be holding an all-you-can-eat Bacon Feast Buffet from 6:30pm until around 10:30pm tonight. Guests can enjoy a dazzling array of savouries, mains and desserts served buffet-style, along with live music from Rob Fitz-Herbert, a licensed bar and prizes for wearing the best piggy face or being able to pin the tail on the pig (closest to the mark gets the prize). Tickets are just $58 per head and they can be booked online (where you can also inspect the full menu). However, seats are limited so an early booking is advisable. More details? Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Kingaroy Cuppa & Chat Group
The Cuppa and Chat Group will be holding its weekly meeting at The Biscuit Tin behind St Mary's Church at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 10:00am to around 11:00am today. As the name suggests, members enjoy a cuppa and biscuits baked in the community kitchen, and simply chat about whatever interests them. More details? Friday Night At The Shed - Nanango
The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting (or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer). Birds Of A Feather - Kingaroy
South Burnett cancer support group Birds of a Feather will be running their annual Daffodil Stall at Kingaroy Shoppingworld near Best & Less from 9:00am to about 2:00pm today as a fundraiser for the Queensland Cancer Council. 2019 Seniors Concert - Cooyar and Yarraman
Cooyar's annual Seniors Concert will be held at Cooyar Memorial Hall on the New England Highway next to the coffee shop from 9:30am to around noon this morning. This year, the outrageous Memphis Moovers will be the special guest artists and to help plan the catering, bookings are essential. You can make one by phoning 131-872 and quoting "Seniors Week 2019". A bus will also be leaving the Yarraman Bowls Club in Margaret Street, Yarraman at 9:00am to take Timbertowns guests to the concert and bring them back afterwards.
Wine & Swine Dinner - Kingaroy
The annual Baconfest Wine and Swine Dinner will be held at the Dr Ellen Kent-Hughes Forecourt in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to 10:00pm this evening. For $110 per ticket, guests can enjoy a grazing table dinner and music at this formal event. A licensed cash bar will be operating as well. Tickets can be booked on the Baconfest website.
Friday Croquet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Croquet Club will be playing croquet games at the rear of the Kingaroy Cricket Club in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (just next to Beangrowers) from 9:00am to around 11:30am this morning. Wesleyan Grace Community Food Hampers will be available at 36 Fitzroy Street, Nanango from 9:00am to 12:00 noon today. Food hampers are available for a modest price to people facing financial difficulties.
South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:30pm today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
