Queensland Winter Craft Festival - Kingaroy
The Queensland Winter Craft Festival will be running throughout June and July at the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery in Haly Street, Kingaroy (opposite the peanut silos). The Gallery will be hosting exhibitions from a number of South Burnett craft groups each month, and it will also be running a daily program of workshops covering everything from pom-pom and rug making to Kumihimo braiding, spinning and weaving, woodcrafts, dichroic glass and more. Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Hivesville Country Markets
The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These family friendly monthly markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month and feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds. Kilkivan Railway Markets
The weekly Kilkivan Railway Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Open Mic Afternoon At The Fitrzroy
The Fitzroy Hotel in Fitzroy Street, Nanango will be holding an Open Mic Jam Session from 2:00pm to around 6:00pm this afternoon, hosted by Mr Q. Anyone is welcome to put their name up on the blackboard and - when their turn comes - perform up to 20 minutes of originals or covers. All PAs, guitars and drums will be provided by Mr Q. Sunday Bingo - Wondai

State Of Origin Game 2
This year's second State Of Origin match will be played at Perth's Optus Stadium tonight, and three local pubs will be broadcasting it live on big screens and offering extra inducements for patrons to view it with a crowd of fellow Maroons supporters. At Maidenwell, the Maidenwell Hotel will be offering all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta from 6:00pm-8:00pm; in Kingaroy, the Carrollee Hotel in King Street will be offering free half time nibblies, First Try Scorer doubles and drink promotions; and in Goomeri, Joe's Grand Hotel in Boonara Street will be staying open for a big screen telecast and offering their epic $10 Chunky Beef Pie, Chips, Tomato Sauce and Pot of Beer 'Origin Special' along with their full menu, plus a prize draw at half time to win one of two Lazy Bear prize packs (buy a drink, get a free ticket in the draw).
Practical Numerology Workshop - Nanango
A Practical Numerology Workshop teaching the basics of Numerology will be held at the QCWA Hall in Fitzroy Street, Nanango from 1:00pm to 3:00pm this afternoon. The workshop is being run by Cat Edwards and guests should bring a pencil, eraser and calculator.
Sunday Poker - Kingaroy

Burton's Circus - Kingaroy
Burton's Circus will be giving one final performance at Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy at 11:00am this morning before heading off to their next venue. Ticket prices range from $25 to $45 per head for adults, and $15 to $35 for children, depending on how close you want to sit to the main ring. They can be obtained at the door. More details? Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
