Cooyar Campdraft
The first day of the two-day Cooyar Campdraft will be held at the Cooyar Showgrounds in Rangemore Road, Cooyar from 6:00am this morning until late in the afternoon. This year's campdraft is being run in conjunction with the 2020 Cooyar Show (the main public day is tomorrow), and the Show's judges will be hard at work examining pavilion entries for most of the day. Today's campdrafting events will focus on a $1000 Maiden Draft and heats of an $1800 Novice Draft (the finals of this draft will be held tomorrow). Entry to the campdraft is 100% free for spectators today, but tomorrow you'll need to stump up for Show tickets if you want to see who wins the finals. There'll also be a bar and canteen running tonight, and there's plenty of campsites available in the Showgrounds if you want to stay over. Everyone is welcome!
Cooyar Show
The first day of this year's Cooyar Show will be held at the Cooyar Showgrounds in Rangemore Road from early this morning (when the Cooyar Campdraft kicks off - see entry above) through until early tonight.
