Kingaroy RSL Bingo
CANCELLED: Bingo games will be running at Kingaroy RSL from 9:30am this morning (eyes down at 10:30am). Friday Afternoon Scroungers - Nanango

The Kingaroy Croquet Club will be playing croquet games at the Kingaroy Cricket Club in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (just next to Beangrowers) from 9:00am to around noon this morning. Beef & Burger Night - Kingaroy
Huskys Burgers outside SupaIGA in Avoca Street, Kingaroy will be holding a Beer and Burger Night until 8:30pm this evening. Guests planning a night on the town can buy their beer at takeaway prices from the bottle shop located diagonally opposite, then bring them over to Husky's for a sit-down burger dinner. Friday Night At The Shed - Nanango
POSTPONED: The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting (or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer). The Shed fires up every Friday night, has tea and coffee-making facilities, and there's no admission charge. Everyone is welcome! More details? Phone Jane on 0400-631-677. Pollies In The Pub - Murgon
CANCELLED: Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce & Industry president Damien Martoo will be presenting "Pollies In The Pub" at the Royal Hotel at the corner of Lamb and Gore Streets, Murgon at 6:30pm this evening. The event will introduce all four Mayoral candidates in the up-coming March 28 Council elections (Keith Campbell, Abigail Andersson, Brett Otto and Toni Ralph) and give the public the chance to ask them questions. Burger Night Fundraiser - Blackbutt
CANCELLED: The Blackbutt-Benarkin Lions Club will be holding another of their once-a-month Burger Night Fundraisers at the Blackbutt RSL at the corner of Douglas and Muir Streets in Blackbutt to raise funds for good causes. The bar at the RSL will open at 3:00pm and the freshly cooked burgers will roll out between 6:00pm and 9:00pm, accompanied by live entertainment from the evergreen RSL Ramblers. Guests can enjoy a burger with chips for $7 ($5 for kids) and there'll also be fish and chips, salads and a limited number of chicken breast burgers on offer. Everyone is welcome, and you can also order takeaways by phoning (07) 4170-0642. Note: Tonight's burger night fundraiser has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.
Nanango Blue Light Skate Night
CANCELLED: The Nanango Blue Light Disco committee will be holding their regular U18s Blue Light roller skating night at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango from 6:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. There'll be lots of fun plus games and prizes, and a canteen will be operating too. Admission is $5, which includes skate hire, and the event is fully supervised. Barefoot Bowls - Yarraman
CANCELLED: The Yarraman Kindy will be holding a Barefoot Bowls fundraiser at the Yarraman Bowls Club in Margaret Street, Yarraman from 5:30pm tonight, kicking off with a BBQ dinner and licensed bar before the bowls start in earnest at 6:30pm. Tonight's get-together will have a Mexican theme and guests are encouraged to wear their most colourful costumes. Tickets are $10 per person and will occur in teams of four, with prizes for the best-dressed, raffles and novelty games as well. Everyone is welcome and no prior bowls experience is necessary. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:30pm today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
