Bunnings Opening Celebrations - Kingaroy
Bunnings Warehouse on the D'Aguilar Highway south of Kingaroy's CBD will be concluding their opening fortnight of celebrations with a family fun day running from 9:00am to 1:00pm today. The event will offer adults the chance to browse through the store while children amuse themselves with a jumping castle, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, slushies, fairy floss, a photo booth and an animal farm. Everyone is welcome!
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Queensland Winter Craft Festival - Kingaroy
The Queensland Winter Craft Festival will be running throughout June and July at the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery in Haly Street, Kingaroy (opposite the peanut silos). The Gallery will be hosting exhibitions from a number of South Burnett craft groups each month, and it will also be running a daily program of workshops covering everything from pom-pom and rug making to Kumihimo braiding, spinning and weaving, woodcrafts, dichroic glass and more. Kilkivan Railway Markets
The weekly Kilkivan Railway Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Yarraman Kindy Cent Auction
The Yarraman Kindergarten will be holding their annual Cent Auction at the Yarraman Memorial Hall in Browne Street, Yarraman today. Doors will open at 8:00am and the last cent auction tickets will be sold at 9:50am before the auction gets underway at 10:00am sharp. As usual, the auction will be offering a jaw-dropping range of prizes (150 in all) including holiday vouchers, kids products, theme park tickets, beauty products, auto products, home cooking, produce, vouchers and lots more. There'll also be hot food and a canteen available if you get peckish. The auction is a major annual fundraiser for the Kindy and admission is just $5 for adults and $2 for young people aged 2-12, which includes a great morning tea at 9:30am, a sheet of tickets and an entry in the Lucky Door prize. Sunday Bingo - Wondai
Bingo games will be held at the Wondai RSL in Mackenzie Street, Wondai this afternoon, with eyes down from 1:30pm. There will be 3 jackpots and 15 games on offer, and the kitchen will be open for light meals. Proceeds will go to help Wondai RSL veterans. More details? Phone (07) 4168-5297.
Nanango Home Produce Share
The monthly Nanango Home Produce Share will be held in the grounds of Ringsfield House at 45 Alfred Street, Nanango from 9:00am to about 10:30am this morning. The share is for people who have excess home produce they would like to swap or gift to others (non-food items can also be swapped) and it has been organised by the South Burnett Permaculture group. Sunday Poker - Kingaroy

Burton's Circus - Kingaroy
Burton's Circus will be giving two performances at Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy at 11:00am this morning and 2:00pm this afternoon. Ticket prices range from $25 to $45 per head for adults, and $15 to $35 for children, depending on how close you want to sit to the main ring. They can be obtained at the door. More details? Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Street Closure - Kingaroy
Kingaroy's Alford Street will be closed between Youngman and William Streets (ie in front of Kentucky Fried) from 7:00am to around 4:00pm today so Council workers can replace water mains. Normal drive-in access to Kentucky Fried should be available after sunset, and the street should return to normal tomorrow.
