Kingaroy Christmas Carnival

The annual Kingaroy Christmas Carnival will be held in Kingaroy and Haly Streets in Kingaroy's CBD from 5:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. All rides will be $3 (except the dodgems), and Santa Claus will arrive at O'Neill Square about 6:00pm to sit in his Santa Chair and pose for photos with the children. The carnival will feature all the usual fun - food and craft stalls, free face painting, a free animal farm, meat wheels and multi-draw raffles throughout the night. Proceeds from the major raffle for grocery hampers will assist the Kingaroy SES. This will be drawn at 8:30pm. There'll also be live music and other entertainment in O’Neill Square from about 5:00pm. NaTDA Meeting - Nanango

The Nanango Tourism & Development Association will be holding its monthly dinner meeting in the Long Hai Room at the Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 5:30pm tonight. NaTDA aims to assist, foster, instigate and/or manage any project that could contribute to the advancement of the communities in and around Nanango, and represents the interests of the Nanango community, business and tourism operators. All interested people are very welcome to come along and get involved! Afterwards, the meeting will be followed by an informal, optional social dinner at the RSL's bistro. Coopers Gap CCC Meeting - Cooranga North

The Coopers Gap Community Consultative Committee will be meeting at Cooranga North Memorial Hall on Niagara Road at Cooranga North from 4:00pm to around 5:30pm this afternoon for an update on the development of AGL's Coopers Gap Wind Farm, and issues related to it. The meeting will be followed by the CCC's annual Christmas bbq and drinks for members and guests.

Thursday Night Bingo

Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
