The South Burnett Regional Council plans to start roadworks in the Runnymede area this week.
The project, at the intersection of Bullcamp Runnymede Road and River Road, will include gravel resheeting, drainage works and bitumen sealing.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of February.
A Council spokesperson said that during construction, signs would be put in place to provide a safe work environment and a safe travel path for traffic around the work area.
