A GoFundMe web page has been set up to help the family of as popular South Burnett teenager who died in a farming accident just before Christmas.

Jade May, 13, died on December 23 in an accident on the family’s property.

By Thursday evening, the Jade May Memorial Fund GoFundMe page had already raised $4395.

It was set up by Jade’s aunt Erica Stallwood, who wrote this tribute:

“Jade was a loving and happy girl who always helped others.

“She was a kind, cheerful, caring, thoughtful, generous, enthusiastic young lady, always ready to lend a hand, ever ready with a smile and a hug, and loved to share a joke and a giggle.

“Jade was a Girl Guide, a dancer, a singer, a friend and a student, but most of all, she was a loving and devoted sister, cousin, niece, daughter and granddaughter.

“Amanda, Peter, Veronica, Zachary and Sean are trying to come to terms with a future without her.

“They need time to be together, to grieve and to heal.

“We are asking for donations so that Amanda and Peter can spend some much needed time with Ronnie, Zach and Sean.

“Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.”
