Kingaroy Police are investigating the theft of four parrots from an address in River Road on Monday night.
Also taken were three bird cages.
The missing birds are three Indian Ringnecks (yellow, turquoise and white) and a Galah.
They were stolen sometime between 10:30pm on Monday and 5:30am on Tuesday from a residence on the Kingaroy end of River Road.

UPDATE December 6: Kingaroy Police have located the birds which have been safely returned to their owner. A Kingaroy man has been charged in relation to the matter and has been issued with a notice to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.
