Police are investigating a serious crash which occurred at Coolabunia early on Sunday morning.
Preliminary information suggests about 1:45am a van travelling along the D’Aguilar Highway left the road and hit a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 31-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.
He was transported to Kingaroy Hospital before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The D’Aguilar Highway was closed between Sommerfelds Lane and Peterson Drive for two hours.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
