Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found on the New England Highway at Yarraman on Monday night.
Police were called to the highway near the intersection of Tarong-Yarraman Road at 11:40pm.
On arrival, they found the woman’s body in the middle of the road.
Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling along the New England Highway between 11:00pm and 11:40pm on Monday to contact police.
Police also urge anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact police.
It is believed the woman was on the road and had been struck by a passing vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
