Wondai Police are asking the public for assistance after reports of a road rage incident on the Bunya Highway appeared on social media on Tuesday night.

The allegations claimed a blue Nissan was being driven erratically between Kingaroy and Wondai, slowing down and speeding up, overtaking vehicles and suddenly braking, and swerving in and out of traffic.

One post read: ” … Followed me into Kingaroy from Wondai, almost ran me off the road in Tingoora. He was driving on the grass, dodging and hitting guide posts. Sped past me …”

The police would like to speak to the driver of a silver Ford Territory that was allegedly the target of road rage, or any other drivers in the vicinity who may have seen anything.

The incidents occurred between 5:00pm and 5:45pm.

Later that evening, a blue Nissan Pulsar with NSW registration was involved in a minor single vehicle crash in West Street, Wondai.

The two young men in the vehicle were not injured.

Police are investigating whether the two incidents are connected.
